Susan Zádor

A visionary and the heart behind our organization, Susan Zedor founded this program in 2009 in California, leaving an indelible mark with around 60 volunteers today. Honored as Woman of the Year by the Government of California for her humanitarian efforts, Susan's journey began when her family emigrated from Hungary in 1984. Originating from a communist regime, Susan's family decided to give back to their newfound community. She opened a nonprofit in California, initially serving terminally ill and disabled children, expanding to include monthly book and card initiatives. Susan's commitment is a testament to the transformative power of compassion, and her goal is to continue this legacy, shining a light on those often forgotten.
